Ken and Kathy vacationed in Estes Park for 6 years prior to deciding to leave "Home" (Akron, Ohio) and move to The Estes Valley.  From Sept. 2004 through Sept. 2006 they owned and operated All Budget Inn & Mountain View Suites on Highway 36.  In October of 2006, they purchased River Stone Management Co., Inc and began managing the River Stone and Bear Paw Resorts.

Ken's background was mostly in "Corporate America" where he worked for Motorola C&E, Inc. and Norstan Communications.   His positions ranged from sales representative and sales manager to Product Line Director and Vice President/ General Manager.   Kathy worked in the Investment Business with positions at Merrill Lynch, Kemper, and Wachovia Securites starting in a clerical position and advancing to Operations Manager.

Both enjoy the hospitality business and have never regretted leaving the corporate world.  They have two son's Jake in Akron, Ohio and Josh in Laguna Niguel California.

In their spare time they enjoy hiking, snowshoeing and viewing wildlife.
